Will be interesting to see if the field splits here or will they all stick together on the fence or outside rail. Down the straight for this one and plenty will be looking to lead, including Savatoxl, Zac De Boss, Sirius Suspect and Sartorial Splendor. Miss Albania, Crestani and Florescent Star will be behind them and William Thomas along with Ocean Beyond will be the ones trying to run past them all.

1: Savatoxl
Lumps the big weight but has the class edge. Would prefer around $8.
2: Ocean Beyond
Was ok at Swan Hill last start. Decent chance to place. Monitor the betting.
3: Sirius Suspect
8 wins at 1200m, a pretty good stat for this. Was an ok run last start at Swan Hill. Happy to risk the veteran runner who doesn’t this short that often.
5: Sartorial Splendor
Was a good 2nd against Zac De Boss last start. Fitter for this, will be near the lead. Good chance.
6: Zac De Boss
Loves the track distance, straight and Cartwright sticks. Great chance.
7: William Thomas
Honest horse but deserves to be the outsider in this field.
8: Crestani
Hard to see what part of the race he can pinch it in with better early and late speed all around him. Happy to leave.
9: Miss Albania
Straight track specialist but doesn’t have a win at the distance. Happy to leave out.
10: Florescent Star
Would need something at its very best to knock them off. Not here.
