Plenty of Group Racing at Caulfield as we kick off the Spring this Saturday and the headliner is the Group 2 PB Lawrence Stakes. Let’s try and find the winner.

Expect it to be a pretty good tempo. Buffalo River and Streets of Avalon will go straight for the lead. Aysra lands somewhere with them. Elephant, I Am Superman sneak behind them with Mr Brightside and Scallopini who might get caught wide. Regal Power and Uncle Bryn to have the last crack at them.

Is a Kingston Town winner but this looks a big task first up in the new stable. Happy to risk.

Has the class to win, but certainly isn’t the grand final. Hard to bet, but hard to pot. Watch the market.

Would need a bit of luck to win this but will have a chance from the front. Happy to risk.

Running out of chances to pinch a race in Melbourne but is good enough to do it here. Can’t entertain anywhere near the $4 price. Happy to risk.

If we get more rain, or somehow get into the Soft 7 track range, could be a chance. Happy to risk for now.

I Am Superman
Suited and may get the best run here. Top winning chance and can’t see the market drifting on it.

Has a brilliant first up record and a really strong SP profile and we’re getting great odds here. Great bet.

Uncle Bryn
Bit of an unknown in this field with not many runs in Australia yet. Market will tell the story. One to watch.
Betting Strategy
A good race. Mr Brightside could blow them away and I Am Superman looks suited here but the odds on Elephant are too good to pass up.
