NRL 2022 Season Preview
Selections
Sydney Roosters
The Roosters were heavily impacted by injuries last season. Regardless, they still performed well enough to finish 5th, eventually losing to manly in the finals. No doubt, it could’ve been a different result if this team had been at full strength. With the return of Keary and the blooding of some future superstars last year, I feel they’re the team to beat in 2022.
Cronulla Sharks
A bit disappointing in 2021 – but at times showed so much promise.
2022 sees Craig Fitzgibbon take the helm as head coach, docking with him are the star Melbourne Storm signings of Dale Finucane & Nicho Hynes. This is a deep, strong roster at a hefty price.
Brisbane Broncos
Plenty of new faces in their run-on side has the Broncos set for a massive turnaround this season. The new director of football, Ben Ikin, has been busy with some smart re-signings along with the Ins of Kurt Capewell, Ryan James & Adam Reynolds, just to name a few.
