Week 12
SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS @ SEATTLE SEAHAWKS
The first meeting of the year between these two NFC West rivals and they seem to be entering the contest in contrasting trends of form. The 49ers since having their bye have gotten right back on track and are looking like the super bowl contender that everyone expected, led by quarterback Brock Purdy who hasn’t put a foot wrong in weeks. The Seahawks offence has hit a wall in recent weeks and with running back Kenneth Walker and quarterback Geno Smith both under injury clouds, I would expect these struggles to continue against a fearsome 49ers defensive line.

TIP: SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS (-6.5)
MIAMI DOLPHINS @ NEW YORK JETS
The Dolphins travel to New York in a rare Friday night game. The Dolphins were challenged a little more than expected against the Raiders, but still managed to get the job done. Their defence after the addition of Jalen Ramsey looks to have really improved of late. The Jets were quite frankly disgraceful against the Bills last week and have now benched their quarterback Zach Wilson, but have replaced him with Tim Boyle who is arguably worse. They are crumbling to pieces internally as well as on the field and I expect the Dolphins to pile on the pain.
TIP: MIAMI DOLPHINS (-9.5)
BALTIMORE RAVENS @ LOS ANGELES CHARGERS
The Ravens travel to California to take on the Chargers in the final game of week 12. The Ravens didn’t really have to get out of second gear to beat their rivals the Bengals last week, although a large chunk of that must be attributed to Joe Burrow’s injury. The Chargers on the other hand went down in a close one to the lowly Packers. Justin Herbert is doing his best, but with Austin Ekeler looking a shadow of his former self and no one particularly stepping up to support Keenan Allen in the receiving core, the Chargers are battling. Whilst they return home to SoFi stadium the Ravens are in formidable form and this looks set to continue.
