Celtics at 76ers
Game 2 was a disaster for the 76ers, but the current odds look value for Philly in this one.
It was a big period for the 76ers, winning a massive Game 1 and then Embiid winning the MVP award. You can’t blame them for coming out a little flat in Game 2, and losing by nearly 40 is not a true indicator of how the series will go from here. Back at home, they’ll be ready and will have a big edge no Embiid has more minus under his belt.
TIP: 76ers (+2.5)
Sticking with the home side. Take Philly +2.5.
Nuggets at Suns
Back at home, Phoenix should get back in the series here and look good value to do so.
Game 2 was very encouraging for the Suns and a 4th quarter fadeout will happen on the road, but the blueprint is there for them to beat Denver. It’s hard to see KD shooting as poorly as he’s done as well and expect him to explode with no Paul as well.
TIP: Suns (-4.5)
Backing Phoenix to turn this around. Take them -4.
Knicks at Heat
The Knicks don’t look to have the talent to beat the Heat at full strength on the road here.
Miami will be far more encouraged by how they played without Butler in Game 2 compared to how the Knicks played without Randle in Game 1. Back at home, the line looks pretty short for them to take control in the series, where they’ve played so well in the last few months.
TIP: Heat (-3.5)
Miami should prove too strong here. Take them -3.5
