Group Racing is back in Melbourne with the G3 Aurie’s Star this Saturday at Flemington. Despite the small field, it’s a wide-open race. Let’s try and find the winner.
Speed Map
Up the straight so they’ll be clumped together. Sirius Suspect the likely leader. King of Sparta, Kalkarni Royal and Just Folk are likely to be together off the speed. Stageman, Shooting For Gold and Romancer could land anywhere but it’s hard to see any horse not having their chance to win the race based on the speed map.

Gets Williams who could win on a broomstick at the moment. Probably prefers the tracks a bit heavier. Happy to risk.

First up for the new stable. Anywhere near his best, he goes very close. Market will be a good guide.

Got a great ride to win last start. Very short in the odds here. Likely to drift from $2.60 but happy to risk

Sirius Suspect
A repeat of last start wouldn’t surprise if leading and winning. Has a good record at Flemington. Big chance.

Queenslander who has been in ok form up North. Have to respect the placement from the stable and with Kah on.

Romancer
Would need a bit of luck to win this. Happy to risk.

Kalkarni Royale
Was a great return almost beating Squid Game. Place chance.
